After Dark (The Night Is Young) 

is an ongoing investigation of affective dynamics in São Tomé, through photography and digital archival recollection. Rooted in oral tradition, music, and the island’s colonial past, the series examines the silent unfolding of intimacy, shame and generational trauma, to trace the genealogy of gender-based violence, exposing its roots within the fabric of personal and collective experiences.
